Leslie Jones Is Not Funny Sucks
Despite all the negative reviews, Leslie Jones remains the host.
What is it going to take to get the writers of this game show to understand that Leslie Jones is just not funny? I don't care if she doesn't miss SNL. That's where she belongs. If she wants to be an obnoxious game show host, then she should do it in a skit, and leave the actual game shows to people who are willing to provide real humor, not forced humor. You could just tell me not to watch it, but I really think that's missing the point. The more obnoxious she becomes, the more likely ratings will suffer. Leslie Jones needs to be replaced, but I doubt that will happen. I also think this show is difficult to look forward to or take seriously, as long as Leslie Jones is the host.
Also unnecessary: Neil, the security guard. Considering this is really a skit, then maybe Leslie Jones really does miss SNL. Does this guy really need to appear in every episode?

Leslie Jones Ruins A Classic
Supermarket Sweep is a classic game show I watched as a kid, and seeing this reboot, I am shocked at how this update went. Leslie Jones does hosting duties for this incarnation, and sadly, she suffers from having too much sass. While I get she is a comedian, but I've seen comedians that did a better job hosting game shows by not resorting to overloading on sass. Also, they change the rules around, as it's only one round before the big sweep, a member of all three teams compete in the mini-sweep, and the reboot uses some actors for roles (like a flower clerk, a security guard, and a cashier), which makes for some horrible comedic moments. Best to stick with reruns of the original.

I thought Leslie Jones was pretty good on SNL. Not great, she couldn't remember her lines to save her life (eyes glued to cue cards), but she had the potential to be funny.
Once upon a time I got a chance to see Leslie perform stand up, and wow, it was bad. Screaming, I mean non stop screaming. Yelling the punch line doesn't make it funny if you do it every time.
With all that in mind, apparently Leslie took her stand up routine to this game show? She yells. A lot. That's cool for enthusiasm and all, but it's just too much.
I appreciate the fact that you can tell Leslie Jones loves this game show, but her delivery is just too "over the top".
The show itself has a format extremely similar to the original, if you enjoyed it you'll recognize everything here. But, a host makes or breaks a game show, and so far this one is broken.
Leslie Jones is new at all this, maybe she'll get better, but right now watching this has been painful at times.

How to destroy a simplistic show
1. Cast Leslie Jones. Godawful.
2. Scream and speak poorly. If you did #1, this will happen regardless.
This show is an abomination, taking one of the most lightweight pieces of tv fluff and applying a jackhammer to it. It's not fun. it's not clever, it's not worth watching.

NO JUST NO!!!!!!
Man, reboots are the worse. I have to say this is the worst reboot I've ever seen. 5 minutes into the first episode and I'm very uncomfortable. Not for families like back in the day. The way Leslie talks is just terrible. Why on earth would you allow a show such as this to contain such foul language and rudeness. She's rude and obnoxious and even interrupts the contestants. If you want to watch the original I would recommend it over this garbage. I hope they read the reviews and get a new host or cancel this terrible show. I OBVIOUSLY DON'T RECOMMEND

Great Gameshow; Terrible Host
Honestly, if you're a fan of the original Supermarket Sweep or just a gameshow fan in general, then you'd like the show. It's got great minigames, keeps the audience involvement up, and watching people sprint with carts and try to avoid each other is hilarious.
The problem is that Leslie Jones just is not great at hosting. Her jokes are unfunny and ill-timed and there are plenty of moments where she tries to steal the spotlight. The whole finale where the winning contestants play for the grand prize is great, but they spend half of the finale with a camera on Leslie giving unnecessary commentary with forced jokes. Why? The finale could easily just be the two contestants running around and discussing clues with each other.
Overall, if you like Leslie Jones or are indifferent to her than the show is worth a watch. If you find her unfunny then this show is par for the course.

Hated Leslie Jones on SNL with her one dimensional shouting (so called) humour. So when I watched this I expected the same. I was not disappointed. Such a bad host. Please stopping spoiling shows by having her in them!

Well it's not the 90's anymore 😞
I enjoy the questions like before so I gave it a 3 but it's not clean family fun anymore. Can't watch it with your kids. The host yells way too much and says nasty stuff. I think I'll just watch the 90's reruns.

Simply awful...
I was a kid when David Ruprecht's version was on tv and I loved watching the show then. I've been able to catch reruns of that version on Buzzr. I can easily see where people would think that version could be corny. Hell, even I'll admit some of the jokes on the show were on the cheesy side. Overall I still enjoy the show as an adult and that's why I tuned in to see this version. I won't be tuning in again. At least the corny jokes aren't being used and I loved "Push It" being included on the show. That's basically the only things I can compliment about it.
Here's the thing..I get people are gonna be excited to be on a game show and have the possibility of winning money. I get it. It'd be strange to tune into a game show and see people act like they were at a funeral. The contestants on a lot of these current game shows act like they snorted a couple of lines of cocaine before shooting started. It's irritating to me. And is it possible for the host to talk in a normal tone of voice without shouting everything that comes out of her mouth? And no, the volume wasn't too high on the tv.
It's just all too much. I won't be tuning in again. I'll stick with reruns of DR's version.

Don't Bother
To be succinct....it sucks. Leslie Jones is absolutely the worst choice for a host that could have been made. I don't think it will be a round for long unless someone wises up and replaces her.

New Host please!
I watched only the first episode and won't watch it again. The host is obnoxious! How much do you have to sell a show if the host is far more excited than the contestants??

I cannot stand Leslie Jones in this!
I really enjoyed the original seasons of Supermarket Sweep and the original host was fairly tame which allowed the contestants and announcer opportunity to shine. Leslie on the other hand feels that yelling, making inappropriate jokes and acting like a fool should be 90% of the show. If you must watch this show do yourself a favor, DVR it, watch it on mute and only watch the parts where people are actually running through the supermarket! The show is 1000% more enjoyable that way! Plus you'll save so much time as each episode will be over in a few minutes!

Horrible host!
Host is to loud and obnoxious! Would be a great reboot if it had a better host. I could not get pass the first 10 minutes. She is not funny and all the screaming is totally unnecessary.

Over the top
Leslie Jones is just extra. I don't know how anyone can find her yelling and artificial excitement appealing. I wondered if I would qualify as a contestant, but then I realized I'm a straight white male and would very clearly not be an acceptable candidate.

Horrible!
The host's incessant screaming is incredibly annoying! She can't speak in a normal tone. Shut it off within 5 minutes and will never watch it again!

The show is good IF she would stop screaming! I dvr it in order to not hear her screaming, fast forward through a lot of her conversations. Different host and the show might be watchable.

Leslie Jone might possible be the worst game show host in the history of game shows!!

My wife and I both loved this show growing up. Was sort of exited to see it come back. And..... No. The original concept remains, yet it is impossible to not cringe every time Jones speaks. When she said "well I'm so glad to hear white people use spices too!!" To a couple in the third episode, that was it for me. (Oh and I'm Hungarian and my Wife is Mexican. She thought it sounded idiotic as well) oh and to follow up that she asked "this desert like to DO it?" The answer was pound cake. WTF. Sad stuff. Pathetic actually ABC should be ashamed for airing this garbage.

Obnoxious
I found Leslie Jones obnoxiously loud and irritating. You want a host with enthusiasm but the yelling was just fingernails on a chalkboard irritating. I won't watch again.

This show is awful now. The 90s show I loved, the 2020's version gives me a headache and makes me miss the 90s that much more. I like Leslie, I just think she should be an announcer at a hockey game or something.

Drives Me Crazy
This version is not nearly as good as the '90s-early 2000s version. It was a much simpler format back then. Plus, I always heard "Who's got the _______? OK, You're on!" spiel at the beginning to see who would play the game. I don't hear that in this version. But, besides that, Leslie Jones is not a good fit for the show. She is too energetic, and too over-the-top, almost to the point of being very annoying. She is a screamer, and personally I don't think that's what makes a good host! I know you're supposed to be energetic, but there's a limit!

Host is terrible
This was my favorite show and I was so excited for it to come back in 2020. The host is the worst. Yelling, screaming and can't understand her half the time. Very disappointed!
